I am Dr. John Chegenye, a seasoned educator, researcher, and Human Resource Management (HRM) expert with extensive experience in organizational development, labor relations, performance management, and leadership. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Resource Management and Development, I have dedicated my career to advancing knowledge, fostering professional growth, and contributing to the development of effective organizational strategies.
Professional Background and Expertise
With a strong foundation in academia and industry, I have served in various capacities, including:
- Lecturer & Researcher – Associate/Assistant Lecturer at Mount Kenya University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, specializing in HRM, organizational behavior, and labor laws.
- Education Administrator – Senior Master and Director of Studies at Eshibeye Secondary School, overseeing academic programs and institutional leadership.
- HR Consultant & Trainer – Providing expert guidance on performance management, HR policies, labor relations, and employee development.
- Election Trainer & Presiding Officer – Conducted voter education and electoral process management for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Kenya.
I am also a proud member of professional organizations, including:
